My graduation project for Art Center College of Design. I created visual development for a potential animated production based on the novel “The Gentleman's Guide to Vice and Virtue” by Mackenzi Lee. This charming adventure tale set in 1730s Europe is about a selfish but sentimental young man named Monty who was meant to be having one last vacation before settling under the thumb of his controlling father. However, through a series of poor decisions, he is thrown into a conspiracy that spans the continent. He is joined by his little sister and his crush as they are thrown into situations so different to their sheltered upbringing. Monty must learn to contend with life threatening dangers and the turmoil of a teenage crush as he comes of age in this adventure.
